Pablo Geeraert is a Belgian-Spanish composer, sound artist, and producer based in Montreal, Canada. His practice spans composition for contemporary dance, visual arts, and installation, and his work has received international recognition, presented at festivals and venues such as MUTEK, AKOUSMA, MA/IN, MONOM, SAT, among others. He is the co-founder of the multidisciplinary composers’ collective FeltWork and currently serves as Immersive Audio Lead at the SAT, where he supports artists in residence.
He also releases music under the moniker Sanea Ima, a project in which his compositions often unfold between structure and disintegration, coherence and collapse—inhabiting fragile architectures of noise, tone, and texture. His work explores how sound can fracture yet retain form, and how instability itself can become expressive. Through this lens, he develops a body of work that seeks neither resolution nor clarity, but a kind of resonance—an approach to sound that remains both intimate and uncertain, fragile yet deliberate.
